Yoga Mat: A Yoga Mat is one of the most basic things a yogi should carry. Yoga studios do sell and rent these out; however, everyone has their preference of texture, length, and thickness. Hence, it is best that you carry something that makes you feel comfortable. It does not always have to be an expensive one, just one that makes you feel comfortable so that you can proceed to relax.
On the other hand, others find loose, flowy dress a little distracting and prefer something that fits their form. Your choice could be anything. The only thing that matters is whether or not you feel at ease for your yoga session to be a success.
