1. Are you registered with Yoga Alliance?

Yes, Yoga Nisarga is registered with the Yoga Alliance.

2. Is it necessary to get a certification to teach Yoga?

Yes, a certification or, say, the authority letter is necessary to teach other disciples of Yoga. Once you make participation in a quality yoga teacher training program, you will be qualified with the necessary set of skills through which you can teach Yoga effectively and in a safe manner.

3. Which certificate do I get after completion of a teacher training program?

Once you successfully pass out from our school, you get a popular 200 hrs Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga Alliance USA Certificate, which is recognized worldwide. After Graduating, you can go online to the Yoga Alliance (USA) website and submit your graduation information so you can become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

4. Right away after I complete the 200-Hour Teacher Training Program with Yoga Nisarga will I be qualified to teach Yoga, or will I need additional training?

You will receive your Letter of Graduation evidencing your training at the 200-Hour Level after you have successfully completed the requirements of the course, including contact hours, homework, and exam. This letter will help you begin your teaching career in studios, gyms, online classes with private clientele (friends and family), etc. You may also register with the Yoga Alliance USA at the RYT-200 level (Registered Yoga Teacher 200).

5. What is the language of Instruction?

The language of Instruction is English.

6. What style of Yoga is taught in Yoga Nisarga ?

Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

7. What is Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Hatha Yoga is known to be the apex of all the other yoga styles. On the other hand, Ashtanga Vinyasa flow is known to be the most dynamic form of Yoga that synchronizes the perfect blend of breath and body movements.

8. How do I know what styles of Yoga I should train in?

Once you begin your yoga journey, you will find various styles of Yoga, such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, etc. To start with, you can try different yoga styles in your home with the help of local yoga classes or online classes. Once you find the perfect yoga style to resonate with your personality, you can move ahead of its professional training program.

9. Is prior experience in Yoga necessary before joining the course?

To be eligible to join our yoga teacher training course, it is mandatory to have a minimum of 4-6 months of regular yoga practice.

Yoga Nisarga also provides study material after you enroll for the course, which helps prepare for the training.

10. How many Yoga Teachers will be there?

At least three teachers, no matter the size of the group. With more than 10 students, there are up to 5 teachers. At Yoga Nisarga, all the yoga teachers are registered with the Yoga Alliance. The teacher owns tremendous experience in teaching yoga practices to the participants. The teachers guide the students with the best practice methods and ensure that they will gain complete knowledge of Yoga Anatomy and Yoga Philosophy.

11. How many students are enrolled in each Teacher Training at one time? What is the typical age range of the participants?

Normal batch size is always good to adore complete YTTC. At Yoga Nisarga, a particular batch size includes 09-14 individuals at a time. This helps teachers improve the interaction between students, who will gain more insight into the course.

This will also allow the participants to have thorough coverage of the yoga practices without facing any hustling-bustling in the batches. Students range in age from 17-50 years old. (If you are above 50 please contact before you enroll the training)

12. I’m interested in joining your Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga YTT. However, English is not my mother tongue. Can I still join your teacher training program?

Sure, you can still join the TTC. For the training program, all required is basic knowledge of the English language, which lets you speak, listen and write the lectures, do the homework and practice teachings, etc. By now, we have trained a number of students from different locales of the world. It’s always good to see students from different regions with different languages interacting and learning with each other.

13. I feel too old to attend yoga teacher training. Is it true that the training is only for young people?

That’s not true at all. Age doesn’t matter when you do something for yourself. Yoga is a lifestyle, and you can embed it anytime in your life without thinking about the age perspective. Always remember, Yoga is not limited to postures. Rather, it includes ethics, meditation, pranayama, and many other things. To be a dedicated yoga disciple, you need not follow any age restrictions. Whenever you want, you can enter into the glorious world of Yoga teacher training.

14. I have a fear of doing inversions like headstand and handstand, can I still join?

Of course, you can join. Inversions are always fun. You can try them in a healthy way. However, if you fear something, you are not bound to do any such thing in which you feel uncomfortable.

Also, we try to make you learn the best practices step by step to make you fear-free.

15. Do you provide the manual?

Yes, we provide a YTTC manual designed to help you throughout your yoga journey.

16. How can I best prepare for the course?

The best way to prepare for the course is to practice yoga techniques at least 3-4 times a week. Alongside this, a healthy diet plan, sound sleep, and limited use of caffeine and alcohol will help you in making the best of the YTTC.

17. What should I pack for the training?

First of all, pack the desire to learn something. This is very important to achieve success in what you dreamt of. Apart from this, your favorite yoga mat, yoga clothes, flip-flops, a pen, and a notepad are the general essentials that you will require during the YTTC. Once you arrive at the yoga school, you will find your teacher loving and caring, who will make you grasp everything in the learning environment.

18. What if I have unique health concerns?

Before joining our yoga TTC, make sure to consult your healthcare provider. Talk with him regarding your intense training tenure and ask for approval. Once you get the approval, make sure to inform us about your health concerns too. We ensure that you get a safe learning environment to accommodate your specific concerns.

19. Can women who are pregnant join the Yoga Teacher Training program

The Yoga teacher training course is not recommended for pregnant women as it can be physically challenging.

20. When are the arrival date and time for the course?

Students need to arrive for the course before 13:00 HRS PM on the day for which they have enrolled course.

21. What are the things you gain outside of Yoga when taking teacher training

Foremost thing teacher training will give you is; it will make you stronger and more resilient. Apart from this, you will get to meet new people from different regions and countries of the world. This will expand your knowledge and allow you to appreciate your life stature on a positive note.

22. Do I need to attend all of the activities?

Well, for certification, it is required on your part of you to attend all the possible classes. But, due to some unavoidable circumstances like illness, you can take breaks from participation. In such cases, we would suggest you take the necessary notes in place of avoiding the complete lesson.

23. Is it necessary to clear my exams for the certification?

Yes, if you want a graduation certificate that certifies you as a yoga teacher, then exams are compulsory.

24. Is there any dress code for yoga classes?

Clothes should be worn as per the locale. They should be comfortable, preferably cotton and light colors.

25. Does the campus/yoga center have Wi-Fi?

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi on the campus

26. Will I get free time between the sessions?

You will get 20 min break between sessions, and for breakfast 1hr 30 min and lunch 2hrs breaks.

Yoga sessions will be from Monday to friday, Saturdays will be half-day. Sunday is full day off. On the off days, you are free to explore your local surroundings. The school may also plan an excursion, in which case you will be required to attend.

27. Multi-Style YTTC and short training

Multi-style Yoga consists of multiple styles of Ashtanga Yoga, Iyenger Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga or Yoga with props. Trainees go through the training session for 19 to 21 days for all the requisite Yoga asanas. To become an expert, one should focus on a maximum of two styles during a training session. More than two styles might help you to get all the information of different yoga asanas, but expertise will be far.

28. BKS Iyengar Alignment

While performing asanas, correct body alignment is important to move the body in the right way. Right-body alignment also prevents pain and injuries. According to the founder of this method BKS Iyengar, to get the most benefit from a yoga asana, one must follow precise alignment for the particular pose.

29. Why should I practice pranayama, kriyas, and meditation?

Pranayama, Kriyas, and Meditation help you in increasing your concentration and creating self-awareness. Once you have created self-awareness, you learn to appreciate life. You will be energized and apply the new energy in the right direction for inner growth.

30. Why should I attend a destination training and not at my local studio?

It’s hard to survive with the training program in your local studio. This is because; you may find it hard to keep yourself away from technology, life stresses, and many similar things.

Once you choose a destination training program, you get the chance to immerse yourself in a different learning environment, free from the chaos of city life. You will get to meet new people, try a new diet, have a sound sleep, and above all, you will be free from your tedious daily routine that put a bar on your inner growth.

31. Will I get a guided music audio file for meditation and mantra?

Yes, after every new meditation technique you learn in the TTC we provide the music file.

32. Do the rates/fees include food?

The fees for the residential yoga teacher training course include accommodation and Vegetarian food for one person. We will provide three meals per day from Monday to Friday. Saturday will only include breakfast, and Sunday, there will be no meals. In the vicinity of the Yoga center, there are several eateries selling wholesome and affordable food. Provisions for food may change. Please contact us for further details.

33. What food do you offer in Yoga Nisarga?

Pure – Vegetarian food.

34. I am Vegan/ Jain? Will there be these options?

Yes, you can mention this while you fill out the form. It will be done.

35. Do the rates/fees include accommodation

Yes. We offer you good clean, and hygienic rooms in close proximity to the Yoga center. Rooms are usually in single occupancy, but with prior intimation, we can book your rooms on twin sharing as well, which is chargeable. Please refer to the website or enquire through email to Yoga Nisarga for the charges for the extra person.

36. I wish to stay with my husband/ wife/ friend/ partner outside the training location.

Sure, you can do that.

Thailand

1. How do I get a visa to visit Thailand?

Thailand has mixed visa rules for various countries. While visas can be obtained by contacting the Thai embassy in your country, what you should know is that Thailand grants visa-free travel or visa exemption to various countries around the world and has three categories. These are 90 days of visa-free travel, 30 days of visa-free travel, and 14 days of visa-free travel. You will need to check the visa exemption list of countries from the Thailand embassy website. (https://www.thaiembassy.org)

Moreover, one can also enter Thailand by border entry, but you need to check if your country falls on the list of approval for border entry. Thailand also grants on-arrival visas for those traveling with valid return tickets (open tickets are not eligible for on arrival visa), which you can check here.

2. Is there any currency exchange available?

Foreign currency exchange is available near resort.

3. Is there any kind of time limitation to apply for a Thailand visa?

For a tourist visa of 30 days to 90 days, you need to apply in advance, anytime between 4 days to one and half months. Alternatively, you can apply for E-visa on Arrival, which is easier to obtain than a regular visa.

4. Do you provide student visa?

Since a student visa involves more formalities, we strongly suggest you apply for a Tourist Visa. We do not provide any assistance with your Student Visa.

5. Am I eligible to apply for an E-Visa

Yes, the Thailand government makes provisions for E-Visa on arrival (EVOA) applications to those wishing to visit the country for tourism, to visit friends, and to attend cultural non-formal courses like Yoga and Dance classes. The E-Visa is valid for 30 days to 90 days, depending on the visa rules for your country.

Check the Thailand government Visa Website to see if your country is included in this list. Once you apply for an E-visa, all you need to do is show the online document at Airport immigration.

6. Do you provide airport transfers and drop facility.

The airport drop-off facility is available. Please contact us for charges.

7. In case of a flight delay, will there be any Airport pickup?

For delayed flights, please inform us in advance so we can schedule your pickup accordingly. Failing to inform us will result in our driver waiting for you for one hour, and then he will leave. In that   case, you will have to arrange your own transport.

About Thailand

1. Is Thailand safe for women?

Yes, Thailand is perfectly safe for women’s.

2. Is the water in the center safe to drink/use for other purposes?

For all purposes of self-hygiene, water is safe to use at Anahata wellness resort Thailand. For Drinking, we will provide you with safe, filtered water from water dispensers at the resort.

3. Are there mosquitoes

While Thailand has mosquitoes. Accommodation at our wellness center is sanitized, and repellent is sprayed in all rooms. Moreover, you can purchase mosquito repellent cream from pharmacies available in the area.

4. Are there any shops in the surrounding areas of the school?

Thailand is a tourist-centric country, and as a result, there are several shopping areas nearby the center, including facilities like ATMs, post offices, fruits and vegetables, pharmacy store shops, etc.

5. Are there places to visit in Thailand on Sundays

Thailand is rich in its eco-diversity, history, and culture. It is full of interesting places to visit, including monasteries, shopping areas, entertainment, historical sites, waterfalls, and beautiful beaches. You can spend your off days touring the surrounding areas or relax at the beach.

6. What are the applicable charges/rates if I come a day before?

If you plan on joining earlier than the date of commencement of the course or even plan to stay for an extra day or two, then the extra days are chargeable as per the following rates.

Accommodation without food: 1900 THB per night.

Meals: Breakfast 400THB. Lunch 300 THB. Dinner 300 THB.

INDIA

1. Do I need a Visa?

A standard tourist visa upon arrival is usually valid for 30 days upon arrival to India. However, it is recommended to get your visa beforehand rather than depending on your arrival.

NOTE: Visa Regulation Keeps on changing. Please consult the Indian embassy in your home country just to cross-check the information mentioned here.

2. How can I apply for a Yoga visa?

“Yoga Visa” has been introduced by the Government of India for visiting tourists who wish to pursue a course on yogic education. This visa lasts for the duration that the yoga program is pursued and can go up to a period of five years. However, this is not the term used by officials; you can ask for a student visa.

3. Who needs a visa for India?

Excluding citizens from Nepal and Bhutan, all others (including children) must possess a valid visa in order to visit India.

4. Do you provide Airport Pickup?

Yes, we do offer an airport pick-up. Just mail us your flight details beforehand, and you’ll get the pick-up.

5. What are the things to do around your Yoga school

Ohh! Goa is so lively all the time. We have an endless list of things to do in your free time Go Diving, expoler the local food in the Night Market, Set off on a Boat Trip, Rent a Motorbike and Explore, Go Chasing Dudhsagar Waterfalls, and Enjoy the live music.

1. How do I secure my reservation for a teacher training course at Yoga Nisarga?

Once you fill out the Application form, your request will be reviewed. After that, it will be accepted, and then you can book a spot by making an initial deposit of 400 EUR.

2. How do I make payment for the course?

When your application is reviewed successfully, we will share with you our bank details so that the remaining fees can be transferred. The balance fees should be paid on arrival.

3. What is the mode of payment?

You can make payments with your international credit or debit card with extra 3- 5% card charges.

4. Will there be any Early-Bird Discount?

If a deposit is made 45 days before the course joining date, then you are entitled to a discount of 200 EUR for Thailand and Bali 300 EUR

5. Will there be any friend Discounts?

If a deposit is made 45 days before the course joining date, then you are entitled to a discount of 200 EUR.

6. Will I get a refund if my plans change?

The advance deposit of 400 EUR is strictly non-refundable and also non-transferable. Where the fees are concerned, if you have paid the first installment, but you are unable to join the course due to unforeseen circumstances, then please inform the center. We can consider crediting the amount towards payment of any course or retreat you may undertake with us within one year from the date of payment. However, the final decision will be at the discretion of Yoga Nisarga after a review of the circumstances and reasons for cancellation. If you have paid for the course in full, and if you are unable to join the course, the deposit of 400 EUR is non-refundable. However, after a review, the balance payment may be refunded to you within 15 working days.
